Meet Wren.

Wren began her life in the 1930s as a hand-pieced Dresden Fan quilt — one of the more technically demanding patterns a quiltmaker could take on, with each fan blade carefully cut from feedsack prints in soft confetti dots, tiny sprigs, and delicate stripes. Hand quilted over all-cotton batting, she’s the kind of textile that simply isn’t made anymore.

Today Wren is a relaxed, open-front coat with a kimono-inspired silhouette. The fan blades have been placed thoughtfully across the shoulders and back, set against a crisp white ground with pops of sage and teal. She’s bright, graphic, and full of character — equal parts vintage charm and modern ease.

Wren fits a Medium through XXL and arrives with a custom Wolfgang label

Wolfgang gives once loved and now unused quilts a new life, regardless of their flaws.

One of a kind — when Wren’s gone, she’s gone.

Disclaimer:
Wolfgang coats are made from genuine antique and vintage quilts — pieces that have lived full lives before becoming something new. They carry the beautiful marks of that history: softness from years of washing, gentle fading, the occasional small repair or imperfection. This is not a flaw — it is the whole point. We give once loved and now unused quilts a new life, regardless of their flaws
