Meet Margot.
Margot began her life as a mid-century hand-stitched quilt, likely pieced sometime in the 1940s or 1950s by hands that took their time. Her original quiltmaker combined two ambitious patterns — a classic Log Cabin with a stunning star medallion — in a rich palette of periwinkle, dusty rose, sage, mauve, and soft gold. Every inch of her is hand quilted over an all-cotton batting, the kind of craftsmanship that simply doesn’t exist in everyday textiles anymore.
Today Margot is a one-of-a-kind coat — relaxed, open front, with a shawl collar and that extraordinary back panel that stops people in their tracks. The Log Cabin blocks land just so across the back, making her feel less like a coat and more like a walking work of art.
She fits a Medium through 3XL and arrives with her handwritten story card and a custom Wolfgang label.
Wolfgang gives once loved and now unused quilts a new life, regardless of their flaws.
One of a kind — when Margot’s gone, she’s gone.
Disclaimer:
Wolfgang coats are made from genuine antique and vintage quilts — pieces that have lived full lives before becoming something new. They carry the beautiful marks of that history: softness from years of washing, gentle fading, the occasional small repair or imperfection. This is not a flaw — it is the whole point. We give once loved and now unused quilts a new life, regardless of their flaws!
